Live passionately and with curiosity. Nothing shapes our journey through life so much as the questions we ask.

We can accommodate up to 12 individuals in two separate homes. Men and women are housed separately.

What is the average length of stay and how long can one remain in the residential program?

Length of stay is individualized. Many of our clients have been with us for 10 or more years, several since Oakdale’s inception in 1981, while others have utilized our services in a more transitional way.

Does Oakdale provide post-residential outreach support?

Yes, many of our clients will spend their lifetimes at Oakdale. When our clients age or have medical needs to the point they require an assisted living or nursing home environment, we remain available to support them during their transition and beyond. Our outreach services offer continuity of support through end of life to former residents who remain in the Southern Berkshires.

What is the cost?

The annual cost is $50,000 for the residential program. Outreach services start at $55 per hour.
